Rehabilitation Works for the Flooring and Garage of the Main Building in the Oil and Gas Engineering Department

The Construction and Projects Department has conducted comprehensive rehabilitation works on the flooring and garage of the main building in the Oil and Gas Engineering Department. The steps by which the work was carried out are detailed as follows:

 

• External cooling device components were lifted and repositioned in their original locations after completing the works.
• Furniture and damaged materials behind the department's building were temporarily removed to facilitate the works and were later returned and arranged appropriately upon completion.
• The external walkway flooring of the main building was removed and lifted.
• The garage floor of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department was removed and lifted.
• Preparation, leveling, and adjustment of the sub-base layer was performed using a site leveler.
• Concrete was poured using salt-resistant cement, sand, and gravel, using SBR material for bonding with the existing concrete.
• According to the plans, Full-body porcelain tiles were applied to the front external walkway flooring using weather-resistant adhesive.
• Pieces of kerbstones were installed and secured.
• A layer of nylon was laid, and stamped concrete was poured.
• The sewer network was rehabilitated by changing its routes and placing new manholes with covers to improve drainage efficiency.
• Daily site cleaning was maintained, ensuring no leftover debris for the following day.

 

The rehabilitation works were executed with high quality, significantly enhancing the overall environment around the main building of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department.
