In this context, the University of Technology has activated a cooperation between the Construction and Projects Department, the Nanotechnology Research Center, and the Environmental Research Center to rehabilitate the buildings of the research centers comprehensively.
The rehabilitation process covered multiple aspects, including civil and electrical works, as well as elevator maintenance. This project was distinguished by effective coordination among the different departments to achieve the best results with the highest quality standards.
Civil works included the structural rehabilitation of the buildings, which involved:
• Wall and ceiling restoration: Cracks were repaired and repainted using high-quality materials.
• Flooring updates: Old floors were replaced with new ones suitable for research activities.
• Facade improvements: The exterior facades of the buildings were rehabilitated to enhance aesthetic appeal and environmental resistance.
