Under the patronage of the esteemed Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the esteemed Governor of Baghdad, Mr. Abdul-Muttalib Al-Alawi, the foundation stone was laid for the annex project of the University of Technology Presidency.

The building to be constructed will consist of five floors, providing modern and flexible spaces to meet the growing needs of the university, both in terms of administrative offices and academic facilities. The building will include advanced facilities such as meeting rooms, administrative offices, archives, and secretarial offices, in addition to other service areas to support the university's activities.
