Rehabilitation of Al-Kindi Hall in the College of Electromechanical Engineering

The Department of Construction and Projects undertook significant efforts to comprehensively rehabilitate Al-Kindi Hall in the College of Electromechanical Engineering in just 20 days.

Rehabilitation Process


Phase One:
The specialized engineering team conducted a field visit to the hall, assessing its current condition and determining the requirements for its development. The team considered the needs of faculty and students to prioritize the rehabilitation process, aiming to make the hall more modern and suited to current needs.

Phase Two:
The comprehensive rehabilitation process began under the supervision and follow-up of engineers from the Department of Construction and Projects. The process included electrical and civil works as well as interior design improvements. The electrical network was updated, and adequate lighting was provided. Air conditioning units were installed to create a comfortable environment for students and faculty. A modern sound system and a large screen were also installed to facilitate presentations and interactions during lectures and events. The improvements also included repainting the walls, renewing the flooring, and enhancing the hall's interior design with modern decorations to boost its aesthetics.

 

The efforts resulted in a significant improvement in the hall, making it more modern and suitable for the needs of both faculty and students. The Department of Construction and Projects deserves commendation for completing the work in record time and with high quality.
The rehabilitation of Al-Kindi Hall is an excellent example of dedication and professionalism, contributing to an improved educational environment and enhancing the College of Electromechanical Engineering's ability to provide the best services to its students and faculty.
