The Construction and Projects Department continues to carry out renovation in the annex of the Computer Science Department, under the direct supervision of Dr. Venus Suleiman, a member of the University's Aesthetic Committee, to ensure compliance with the proposed designs and adherence to technical and architectural standards.
The renovation works in the annex include the following:
• Upgrading the external facade of the annex using modern materials to enhance the building's appearance, in line with the architectural character of the college, and to improve the university environment's aesthetics.
• Renovating the internal corridors to facilitate movement for students and faculty, with improved lighting and ventilation to ensure user comfort.
• Upgrading classrooms with the latest educational technologies, including improved lighting and ventilation systems, updated furniture, and a more comfortable learning environment.
• Rehabilitating all sanitary facilities in the building.
• Electrical infrastructure upgrades to modernize the building’s power systems, with the addition of advanced safety systems to ensure secure electricity use. Civil works are also being carried out, including structural repairs and improvements to sanitary facilities.
The renovation of the Computer Science Department’s annex is a significant step toward enhancing the college’s infrastructure, ensuring the provision of a modern, safe educational environment that aligns with the latest academic developments.
