The Construction and Projects Department continues the rehabilitation of the main water pipe at the university, located near the tower gate entrance. This project aims to improve the university's water network and ensure efficient and safe water delivery. The rehabilitation process involves several consecutive phases, adhering to technical standards to ensure the quality of the work.

• Excavation along the entire path of the pipe to access the old one, using precise equipment to avoid impacting surrounding areas.
• Groundwater extraction was performed using a Roben suction mechanism to ensure the site was arid, preparing it for further rehabilitation work.
• The old pipe was exposed, and the damaged parts were cut. A lock was installed on the side leading to the garage, and the opposite end was connected to complete the pipe path.
• The pipe on the kiosk side was prepared for connection to the new path. New ductile pipes were then laid to complete the pipeline route.
• After the new pipeline was fully laid, it was wrapped in nylon, and warning signs were placed to ensure the surrounding area's safety.
• A mechanical bore was used to open the sewers and extract accumulated water, facilitating excavation and ensuring pipe stability.
• Final excavation was completed, and the pipe height was adjusted to meet the required standards.
• A thorough inspection was carried out by operating the stations to ensure proper connection and performance of the new pipe.
• The pipe's weight was measured to ensure stability, and levels were adjusted to maintain efficient water flow.

This project aims to improve the university's water network efficiency, ensuring a safe and continuous water supply. It also strengthens the university’s infrastructure, reducing the likelihood of future leaks.
The Construction and Projects Department continues to work diligently on the rehabilitation of the main water pipe, adhering to all technical procedures to ensure high-quality work and provide the best services to the university.
