29 November 2023

Water infrastructure is a vital component of the overall infrastructure of any educational institution, playing a crucial role in securing the university's needs. In this context, the specialized engineering teams from the Department of Construction and Projects and the Maintenance Department at Technology University, under the direct supervision of Assistant Lecturer Oday Hammody Abdullah, the head of the Construction and Projects Department, made exceptional efforts to repair a break in the main water pipe located behind the Applied Science Building.

This step is part of the university's commitment to providing an optimal environment for students and staff, as the break in the main pipe was identified as an urgent problem requiring swift and effective intervention. The process began with direct supervision by the engineering teams, who assessed the extent of the damage and determined the repair strategy.

The initial steps included analyzing the break and identifying its causes, contributing to developing an effective plan for repairing the damage. The teams provided a lock on the damaged main pipe to prevent water leakage and minimize the negative impact on the surrounding area.

In conclusion, this event underscores the importance of regular maintenance and earnest efforts to preserve infrastructure in its best condition, enhancing the student experience and ensuring the continuity of daily operations at Technology University.
