Rehabilitation in the Materials Engineering Department

The Department of Construction and Projects has undertaken comprehensive rehabilitation work in the Materials Engineering Department. The efforts focused on rehabilitating the department head's bathroom, kitchen, and council of Materials Engineering Department bathroom, in addition to the male and female bathrooms. This work involved several steps, and the executed tasks are detailed as follows:

 

Work Completed in Male and Female Bathrooms and Department Council Bathroom:

  • Remove the heater and old ceramic tiles from the walls.
  • Remove old tiles from the floors, eastern seats, and sinks.
  • Installation of a new hot-water and cold-water network.
  • Removal of the old drainage system and installation of a new drainage network.
  • Installation of the new ceramics Wall tiling.
  • Installation of floor tiles.
  • Installation of western and eastern toilet seats with all accessories.
  • Installation of a floor drain.
  • Installation of new sinks with all accessories.
  • Removal of the old secondary ceiling and installation of a new secondary ceiling.
  • Installation of air extractors.
  • Connection and operation of LED lighting.
  • Replace the internal aluminum doors with new ones and replace the bathroom's external wooden door with an aluminum door.
  • Installation of electrical appliances (automatic) inside the bathroom, such as liquid soap dispenser, tissue holder, and hand dryer.
  • Reinstall the electric heater after completing the work.
  • Daily site cleaning was ensured during the work period, with no work residues left for the next day.

 

Work Completed in the Department Head's Bathroom:

Similar tasks were carried out in the male and female bathrooms and the department council, including installing a western toilet seat with all accessories and a shower mixer.

 

Work Completed in the Department Head's Kitchen:

Similar tasks were undertaken in the male and female bathrooms and the department council. This included renovation of the walls, floors, and ceiling in the kitchen. An air extractor was added, and a new water and sewage network was established. The old sink was removed with all its accessories, and a new sink was prepared and connected after completing the work. The old kitchen door was replaced with a new aluminum door.

 

The rehabilitation work has been completed, contributing to improving the Materials Engineering Department's infrastructure to meet the users' needs and expectations.
