The engineering staff in the Construction and Projects Department conducted a field visit to the annex building of the Electromechanical Department, to completely rehabilitate the building. The visit's main objective was to assess the current condition of the building and identify the necessary works for its rehabilitation and renovation, in line with modern engineering standards and safety and quality requirements.
The team started with a comprehensive inspection tour throughout the building, examining the structural framework, ceilings, walls, and floors. They focused on weaknesses and cracks that need restoration.
The inspection included checking the electrical systems, air conditioning, ventilation, and lighting. The engineers noted some issues with the old electrical wiring and air conditioning systems that need updating.
The team collected technical data and engineering drawings of the building. They also took photos and documented notes regarding the issues and observations that need addressing.
