Under the patronage of the esteemed Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the supervision and follow-up of the esteemed Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and the implementation of the supervision, planning, and design by the Department of Construction and Projects, and the University Aesthetics Committee, the project for the rehabilitation of the University of Technology Presidency building has been completed.
This project represents an important step towards improving the university's infrastructure and providing a suitable work environment that aligns with modern academic standards. The project was executed according to the latest engineering and design methods, reflecting the commitment of the ministry and the university to providing the best educational and research services.
The project included numerous engineering works and technical installations, including updating the internal and external facilities of the building, enhancing public safety through the installation of fire alarm systems, and updating security and surveillance camera systems. Comfort for employees and visitors was ensured by redesigning the internal and external spaces of the building and providing a suitable reception area for visitors and students. The project also involved the development of essential service facilities.
The efforts of all participating parties contributed to the completion of this project according to the specified timeline and within the allocated budget.
This achievement is part of a comprehensive development plan aimed at raising the standard of Iraqi universities and providing exemplary educational environments that contribute to the development of students and faculty members' academic skills and capabilities alike.
