As part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and provide a safe and comfortable educational environment, there is a collaboration between the Construction and Projects Department and the engineers of the College of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering to establish a set of new facilities. These facilities include an emergency staircase, storage rooms on the roof of the college building, and seating areas for students in the surrounding corridors of the college.

Construction of the Emergency Staircase:
• Preparation of engineering designs that comply with safety and security standards.
• Selection of the optimal location for the staircase to ensure easy access and quick evacuation.
• Commencement of construction work using fire-resistant and durable materials.

Design and Construction of Storage Rooms:
• Designing storage rooms that meet the needs of the college and ensure easy access and organization.
• Ensuring that designs are compatible with the structural engineering of the building.
• Cleaning and preparing the roof for construction, building the storage rooms using durable materials, and providing ventilation systems and protection from weather conditions.

Creation of Seating Areas for Students:
• Designing comfortable and attractive seating areas that align with the design of the surrounding buildings.
• Choosing strategic locations that allow students to engage in social interaction and relaxation.
• Installing comfortable and suitable daily use benches, along with canopies to protect students from sun and rain.
