Meeting to Discuss the Construction of Flood Basins at the University

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad, with the Director of the Department of Construction and Projects, Dr. Oday Al-Muharram, and members of the committee for preparing the estimative statements for the establishment of flood basins at the university. The meeting was also attended by the respected structural consultant, Prof. Ghassan Wameedh, the consultant for electrical works, Dr. Kanaan Ali, and a member of the university's aesthetic committee, Dr. Venus Suleiman.

 

Objectives of the Meeting:
• Review the engineering designs for the flood basins.
• Ensure that the designs meet the requirements of the Civil Defense Directorate.
• Discuss the bill of quantities and the materials required for project execution.
• Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment to carry out the work according to technical specifications.
• Enhance collaboration between consultants in structural, electrical, and aesthetic fields to ensure the project is executed in an integrated manner.
• Ensure that all specializations contribute to achieving a comprehensive design that meets the university's needs.

 

This meeting reflects the university’s commitment to improving its infrastructure and enhancing safety within the campus. Through collaboration between senior management and specialized consultants, strong foundations are being laid for the construction of flood basins, aligning with the highest technical standards and safety requirements.
