The Construction and Projects Department at the university has completed the second phase of the restroom rehabilitation works at the College of Materials Engineering. This project is part of a comprehensive plan to improve service facilities and provide students and faculty with a more comfortable and healthier environment.

The following are the details of the completed works:
   • Removal of the old heater and ceramic tiles from the walls.
   • Removal of the old floor tiles, eastern toilets, and washbasin.
   • Installation of a new hot and cold water network.
   • Replacement of the old sewage system with a new one.
   • Application of new ceramic tiles on the walls.
   • Installation of new floor tiles.
   • Installation of both Western and Eastern toilet seats along with all necessary accessories.
   • Installation of a new floor drain.
   • Installation of new washbasins with all accessories.
   • Replacement of the old secondary ceiling with a new one.
   • Installation of new air exhaust fans.
   • Installation of LED lighting.
   • Replacement of the internal aluminum doors with new ones and the external wooden door with a new aluminum door.
   • Installation of automatic electrical devices in the restroom, including a liquid soap dispenser, tissue holder, and hand dryer.
   • Reinstallation of the water heater after completing all works.
   • Daily cleaning of the site was ensured during the construction period, with no work debris left for the following day.

The rehabilitation works were completed, contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure at the College of Materials Engineering to meet the needs and expectations of its users. all tasks were executed with high quality and within the project's scheduled timeline.
