The Construction and Projects Department continues to work on the connecting bridge between buildings B and C at the College of Materials Engineering, with the project now in its final stages. This project aims to facilitate movement between the buildings and provide integrated infrastructure to serve the college and its students.
This phase includes completing the installation of the bridge’s main structure and adding the final finishes to ensure the project’s durability and strength. This involves reinforcing the main supports and installing the roof and flooring.
The focus is now on implementing safety measures for the bridge to ensure it can withstand loads, along with installing safety barriers and lighting to ensure safe use for pedestrians, whether students or faculty members.
This project marks a significant step in improving the infrastructure of the College of Materials Engineering and reflects the university’s commitment to providing modern facilities that meet students' needs.
