The University’s Construction and Projects Department has successfully constructed three emergency staircases in three colleges: the College of Control and Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electromechanical Engineering.
• The project aims to provide safe and quick evacuation routes in emergencies, enhancing safety levels within the colleges and protecting students, faculty members, and staff.
• This project responds to the requirements set by the Civil Defense Directorate, which emphasizes the importance of having appropriate emergency exits in academic buildings to ensure swift and safe evacuations.
• The project reflects the university's commitment to developing its infrastructure in line with safety and quality standards, thus improving the work and study environment on campus.
The implementation of these staircases in the three colleges strengthens the university's capabilities in managing crises and emergencies and represents an important step toward enhancing safety standards within educational institutions. It also contributes to creating a safe learning environment that meets all modern safety requirements.
The Construction and Projects Department continues its dedicated efforts to develop the university's facilities and improve its infrastructure following the highest global standards, ensuring a safe and sustainable educational environment that serves all members of the university community.
