The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, paid an inspection visit to the rehabilitation work of the annex of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. The visit was attended by the Head of the Construction and Projects Department, Dr. Uday Hamoudi Abdullah, the President of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar, several engineers from the Construction and Projects Department, in addition to several faculty members at the College of Chemical Engineering.
Objectives of the visit:
• The visit aimed to follow up on the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation work in the annex of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, such as the rehabilitation of bathrooms, the modernization of electrical systems, and the maintenance of public utilities.
• The visit focused on verifying the quality of the implemented works, and ensuring that they comply with the required standards and technical specifications, in order to achieve safety and quality requirements and enhance the infrastructure of the college.
• During the visit, they interacted with members of the teaching staff of the College of Chemical Engineering and listened to their suggestions and needs. The engineers of the Construction and Projects Department also gave a detailed explanation of the ongoing works and plans to complete the project.
This visit reflects the keenness of the university administration to closely follow up on the implementation of construction and development projects and to ensure the progress of work in line with the set goals. It also underscores the University's commitment to improving the learning environment by providing modern facilities that meet the needs of students and faculty.
