The rehabilitation project for the administrative assistant's office at the university's headquarters was successfully implemented through the efforts of the Construction and Projects Department. This project included works and improvements to enhance the office's structure to meet quality and comfort standards.
The tasks undertaken in this project included several crucial steps:
- The existing furniture and fixtures in the office were lifted to ensure their safety during implementation.
- Old carpets and flooring were removed, and the floor was thoroughly cleaned. The bed was then covered with scratch and water-resistant wooden panels.
- The old lighting was removed, and new spotlights were installed.
- Windows were maintained and cleaned, handles were prepared and installed, and fly screens were established by adding new glass for the windows.
- The storage area was painted with two coats: the first was painted with enamel paint, and the final layer was painted with plastic paint. Necessary repairs were also carried out, focusing on removing moisture-damaged areas and smoothing surfaces using sandpaper.
- Rehabilitation of the office's restroom.
- A single wooden door was renovated, including replacing damaged parts, refinishing, and painting. Zebra curtains of varying widths were installed in different areas of the office. An iron corner structure with shelves was established to organize the office. Wall-mounted split air conditioning units were installed for the assistant and secretarial room.
- Daily site cleaning was ensured during the work period, with no leftover debris for the following day.
With these detailed steps, the rehabilitation of the administrative assistant's office was successfully achieved, contributing to its improvement and making it more comfortable and sustainable. Care was also taken to provide new elements and improvements to ensure safety and comfort for university staff.
