- The storage area was painted with two coats: the first was painted with enamel paint, and the final layer was painted with plastic paint. Necessary repairs were also carried out, focusing on removing moisture-damaged areas and smoothing surfaces using sandpaper.
- Rehabilitation of the office's restroom.
- A single wooden door was renovated, including replacing damaged parts, refinishing, and painting. Zebra curtains of varying widths were installed in different areas of the office. An iron corner structure with shelves was established to organize the office. Wall-mounted split air conditioning units were installed for the assistant and secretarial room.
- Daily site cleaning was ensured during the work period, with no leftover debris for the following day.
With these detailed steps, the rehabilitation of the administrative assistant's office was successfully achieved, contributing to its improvement and making it more comfortable and sustainable. These works were conducted by the directives of the supervisory committee, characterized by precise use of materials and skilled labor to ensure the execution of the job with high quality and efficiency.
The activities undertaken in this project included several essential steps:
- Material Preparation: All required materials were prepared before commencing the work. This procedure ensured that the used materials, such as plastic tiles and their adhesive, complied with approved standards and specifications. The quality of these materials was examined to ensure they met the required criteria.
- Removal of Old Carpet: The old carpet in the targeted corridors and rooms was removed, treated, and delivered to the relevant entity for environmentally friendly disposal.
- Floor Cleaning: After removing the old carpet, emphasis was placed on comprehensive floor cleaning. The cleaning process was thorough to eliminate any residue from the old adhesive, ensuring the floor surface was ready to receive the new plastic tiles.

Efforts of the Engineering Teams in Repairing the Main Water Pipe Break at the Technology University
Water infrastructure is a vital component of the overall infrastructure of any educational institution, playing a crucial role in securing the university's needs. In this context, the specialized engineering teams from the Department of Construction and Projects and the Maintenance Department at Technology University, under the direct supervision of Assistant Lecturer Oday Hammody Abdullah, the head of the Construction and Projects Department, made exceptional efforts to repair a break in the main water pipe located behind the Applied Science Building.
This step is part of the university's commitment to providing an optimal environment for students and staff, as the break in the main pipe was identified as an urgent problem requiring swift and effective intervention. The process began with direct supervision by the engineering teams, who assessed the extent of the damage and determined the repair strategy.

The Department of Construction and Projects carried out a comprehensive rehabilitation process for the basement of the Technological University Presidency. The executed works included several steps aimed at improving and renovating the basement, detailed as follows:
- Prepare and install sections of the secondary ceiling with rails, secured with roll bolts and wires between fixing points.
- Rehabilitation and maintenance of wooden doors, including accessories preparation, double door gap reduction, and necessary repairs.
- Paint the basement walls with two base coats of Bentonite paint and two coats of coral plastic paint, with necessary repairs conducted before painting.
- Removal of damaged plaster, moisture treatment, and application of cement mortar, gypsum plaster, and porcelain for the walls.
- Implementation of floor application using plastic tiles with appropriate adhesive.
- Remove old partitions and install new aluminum partitions, using roll bolts for fixation.
- Rehabilitation of the iron stairwell, including welding, finishing, and painting with the appropriate coating.
- Installation and inspection of lighting structures, installation and wiring of power outlets, and building and operation of an air fan.
- Connection and installation of fire alarm and extinguishing systems using fire suppression balls.
- Installation of distribution panels for electricity, including inspection and operation.
- Installation, connection, inspection, and operation of a wall-mounted air conditioner with pipe and wire enclosure.
- Installation of a water collection drain, connection of the water pump, and cleaning of the lower drain.
- Install a fire alarm, fire extinguishing, and cooling system connection.
Technical standards and specifications were used in these works, and the relevant committee approved the results.
